At the Wood Floor Company we love wood floors because that’s what we do! We believe that quality is everything especially when investing in a new wood floor because unlike carpet, vinyl and ceramics; Wood Floors should last for generations to come. As we strongly believe that your wood floor should last a lifetime it should be bought with that thought in mind. That’s why we make your investment our business and why we strive to ensure that each and every one of our clients is well looked after from the initial concept through to the completion of their project and that their chosen floor really will stand the test of time!

Our team of expert wooden floor fitters, including parquet flooring fitters, have a wealth of knowledge and experience in installing all of our flooring options and for more information on choosing the right wood floor take a look at our blog post here.
For all supply and fit services, it is advised that you attend our showroom to discuss your requirments and carefully shortlist a number of products that you like. (We have over 300 variations to view - so having a good idea of what you like before you come is often helpful) We will then arrange to carry out a survey of the property before providing you with a quotation for the works and in all cases we will bring your selection of samples to view in your home/ premises.
Sub Floor Correction
We strongly believe that the ultimate finish and longevity of your new wood floor is highly dependent upon the suitability of the sub floor.
To achieve the best results, before fitting your new wooden flooring, we offer a full correction service that includes floor screeding and levelling and timber sub floor correction
All wood floors require an expansion gap around the perimeter wall and to ensure that your flooring project is finished to look its best, we would always recommend that your existing skirting boards are carefully removed and refitted, replaced or in some cases undercut. All of our quotations include one of these options which will be discussed with you in detail upon our visit to the property / premises.
